I'm not fluent in Turkish so I will post in English - hope it's okey.

I talked to Medeks and Dr. Şahin Çelik about painless anaesthesia. They said that they have this and everything is without pain. Is this true? I did my first hair transplantation at some other clinic 15 months ago and the pain during anaesthesia with needles was really bad.

Do you guys know how the painless and needle-free anaesthesia works at Medeks or Şahin Çelik?
Dr. Resul Yaman also has needle free before the needle injections to decrease the pain - but I don't know how well it works?

Hello, I had my hair transplant done in Sahin Celik. The pain was really very little.  I'd be lying if I told you there was no pain. There was. But pain is very little if you compare to other technics. The only thing you need to do is being calm. While my hair transplant was being done, Sahin Celik said that there was some people who fainting from pain because of the stress they made. So, please dont make stress

The only pain you feel is the small needles in order to inject the anaesthesia. I am not sure whether any needle free anaesthesia available in the market at the moment. If you are too sensitive to the pain, you might ask to have general anaesthetics. I am afraid  most of the surgeons will try to avoid it due to it's complications.

Yes, Dr. Sahin Celik told med that they will first numb the area with a pistol like thing that contains something like Lidocaine. After that the injection needles start. But they should feel less according to Dr. Sahin Celik. So hopefully that's why you felt little pain? I remember my first hair transplant without numbing cream, it was horrible. But also maybe they can give me Xanax or Valium or something similar to calm me down.

Yeah, I don't want general anaesthetics because of the complications. But the small needles hurt very much to me last time
Just wanted to know if it can be avoided.

Medeks told me they will give patients something like Xanax and that the one injecting the needles is really experienced so it should be painless...

I don't know whether they are giving xanax or not but you can do this without zanax. After a few minutes you will not feel your head.

But is it safe to get sedation when there might not be a doctor? I'm choosing between Medeks, Akl and Ahmet Tosun. I don't think Medeks have sedation?
When you got sedation - did you sleep? If yes, for how long? Or were you just high

All of these clinics are really good and highly suggested ones. I also had my both transplants done at Ahmet Tosun clinic. The first with local anesthesia, for the second one I went with sedation. I am one of those patients who complain just like you about pain. That's why I wanted to get it done with sedation. It's very comfortable. I felt like I slept for about 15-20 minutes if it is not less. Then I woke up and there was no pain. There is a doctor for sedation in Ahmet Tosun Clinic. He is not an anesthesia technician, but an anesthesiologist. The doctor administered the anesthesia herself.
