Dino here in Portugal besides Portuguese we study English, French and Spanish.
I can read and write fluently in these 4 Languages.
 Turkish is still not a famous language in Portugal but maybe this will change in the future because Turkish Airlines now has direct flights from Lisbon to Istambul every day

Dr. Kaan is starting to become very famous in the Italian and English forums.
Do Turkish people consider Dr. Kaan Pekiner one of the best hair transplant Doctors in Turkey?

its not so popular in turkey yet, but he had like 3-4 patients here, Due to our economic problems not everyone can handle the doctors who work with euro.

And at the top right of site, you can use google translate and add pictures to forum,(4 Per post). Its better to save photos here because sometimes other sites(like bellicapelli now) have issues and you can lose your old photos.

Pekiner worked and got trained by Keser for about a year and worked at HLC for about four years if I am not mistaken. He is an underrated rising star but does not get enough credit in Turkish forums as much as he does in international ones because of not having many HTs topics opened in Turkish forums. So thank you for opening one here. Please keep us updated at least the first 12 months of your HT.

As for me, I love Pekiner's work and would suggest people going to him if they can not afford Keser and/or they need more than 2500 grafts and/or they need beard support. Pekiner is one of the very few doctors who extracts and implants himself, and who uses stick and place technique. I have been checking his work on international forums and can recommend him to anyone who wants doctor's involvement through out the HT, dense packing and reasonable price.

Dr. Kaan gave me a huge discount and charged me 2€ per graft regardless if it was beard or scalp grafts.
I searched all over the world and could not find a Doctor that does the whole surgery charging less per graft.
The cheapest Doctors in Europe (that do the whole surgery) charge 2.5€ per graft.
In the USA a Doctor that does the whole surgery charges 8 dollars per graft (crazy expensive).
I do not like to have surgeries with Doctors that allow technicians to do the surgery without their presence. So having a Doctor that performs the whole surgery is very important to me.

Which doctor do the Turkish people consider the best in Turkey?
Koray- Asmed - He uses technicians and recently there has been several patients complain about their results on the English forum.
HLC Ankara? (expensive! Charged me 2.7€ per graft).
Keser? (Expensive! He charges 3.5€ per graft)
Is there any other really good Turkish Doctors that only Turkish people know about?

The others to consider could be Kul, Doganay and Demirsoy. They are not as consistent as the ones you mentioned but are known as good doctors by the community.

The rest are more budget friendly with more controversial results.

Quick question: Does Pekiner use manual punch or motorized punch?

Kaan Pekiner is using manual punch.
In my case he used 0.6mm punch for the beard and 0.9mm for the scalp.
I have recommend Demirsoy to a friend on a tight budget because he costs 1.25€ per graft but he does not perform the whole surgery, he uses technicians.
I never read anything about Kul but I just researched him on the English forum and his results from 2013 to 2015 are not good but maybe now he is better. 
Dogany has a few bad results in the English forum and is not recommend by them anymore.

Keser is amazingly consistent with super high yield and very very low failure rate. He does everything himself (numbing, extracting, implanting etc). He does max 600 grafts and one patient a day. He has his own punch (designed by himself) which cuts through with one move and increases the survival chance of the grafts. And this kind of boutique treatment comes with the price which makes him the most expensive HT doctor in Turkey (that is still cheap compared to US, Canada and some part of Europe). I wholeheartedly believe he deserves it and that's why I got 2 HT with him. My other alternatives were Dr. Konior ($8 fue) with 1 year wait time and Dr. Couto ($6 fue) with 4-5 year wait time.

Keser's only shortcoming is the lack of public relations and advertisement but when I asked him about the same, he told me that he does not want to be exposed much and he likes to stay low key. He mentioned that he always has enough of patients in the pipeline and expanding without compromising the quality is impossible. He also added that forums are asking ridiculous amounts of money to keep him as a suggested surgeon which I don't think he needs. His results speak for himself.

Anyways, you also selected the right doctor to have HT with. If I were in your shoes, I would do the same especially if I need beard grafts. Good luck with growing them and please reach out to me if you have any concerns or questions on your post-op adventure

Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy the great hospitality here. I live in Denmark and I've just got my hair transplant in Turkey. It was an amazing experience after all. I think Turkey has greatest price/performance ratio in the region by far.

I went to Lisbon only once and it was amazing. We ended up fado music bar in the night and I still remember those moments. I remember that I asked why do you have this sadness ? What happened ?. They told me about the sailors once in a while sailed overseas and never came back. We have something similar in Turkish culture. It is mostly about our soldiers. They go to wars or to fight somewhere else in our history and they don't come back. So, we have also sad songs about them. Weird

Yas30 on the other foruns whenever I talk about Turkey someone always criticizes me because they say that Turkey is full of low cost clinics where under paid technicians with very little knowledge are performing surgeries.

I am trying to explain to people on the English forum that even though Turkey does have a lot of low cost clinics they also have some of the best doctors in the world like Keser, Pekiner and HLC but its difficult for people to fully trust Turkey due to many terrible results from low cost clinics.

Just 10 million people in Portugal and Lisbon is now a very trendy European capital city because of Cristiano Ronaldo. Fado music is mostly popular with tourists because Portuguese prefer Ed Sheeran and Madonna (she has been living in Lisbon for over 1 year)

Licoln I just saw dozens of patients results from Esma Serkan Tetik and all the results are good! Also read that you have booked your surgery with them, congratulations.

They use DHI to implant the grafts which is the same technique that the Best Fue Doctors in the world are now using (Juan Couto, Jose Lorenzo, Rafael De Freitas).

I do have some questions and I would be very grateful to you if you could answer these questions:
Are Esma and Serkan actual Doctors or technicians?
Did Esma and Serkan used to work with Dr. Hakan Doganay (Doganay has a terrible reputation on the English forum and for good reason)?
Do they have a limit of 2000 grafts per day?
Are Serkan or Esma doing the whole surgery or do they have technicians doing part of the surgery?
Do they have only 1 patient per day like Dr. Kaan Pekiner?
I read they are charging 8000 TRL for 3650 grafts including the Hotel (this is crazy cheap) is this price correct?

It seems like Esma and Serkan Tetik are a well kept secret because they are only doing surgery on Turkish people and have zero international patients.

I still think Dr. Kaan Pekiner is the best in Turkey because his results have more detail, his hairlines are almost perfect and he has a lot of experience doing beard mega sessions
